Lamoille Canyon Part 2, Nevada
August 8, 2022
Continuing the post now!
Our final hike in the Ruby Mountains was a 5.6 mile loop to Lamoille Lake on Sunday.

Look around - Near the trailhead (you can still see the parking lot)

Look around - Almost up to the lakes

We walked past a couple of small lakes on the way.

Look around - View at little lakes

Going back down

Look around - The path down was much more exposed and had more flowers

Look around - Switch backs are always easier on the way down!

On our last day, we relaxed and did some chores. Rick refilled the little propane bottles from one of the main tanks, but sometimes things are just not as easy as expected. The pigtails that go from the propane tanks to the regulator on the camper have always been a bit short and didn't look like they were really happy. Well, this was the day that one of them decided to started leaking a lot, and upon closer inspection, the second one appeared to have a leak as well. Off to Ace Hardware we went for some new pigtails and a tank refill while we were at it. We should be good to go now for a while (fingers crossed)!
Thanks for wading through all the pictures of this post. We were surprised how scenic Nevada could be!

We've noticed more and more signs with random stickers on them these days.
