2021 Big Road Trip Part 1, Vedauwoo

August 21, 2021

Vedauwoo

Up at sunrise heading west

Victorian Acres RV Park--Not sure what was Victorian about it, but it was a pleasant stay for one night

Nebraska had many yellow roadside flowers blooming

I thought by taking this picture, it would make us feel smaller in comparison with the semis.  I kinda was expecting there to be a more dramatic difference, though.  I guess our trailer and truck are pretty big.

Our first boondocking site at Vedauwoo in south eastern Wyoming

I was quite enamored with all the boulders.  I may have gone overboard with the pictures a bit.

Our "yard" (for a few days, at least)

Surprisingly, we had cell coverage, and Rick took a call from Ken

We did a lot of exploring on our bikes covering a lot of local gravel roads, looking for new boondocking sites as well as just fun things to climb and see!

There were tons of dirt roads for exploring by bike

A very scenic outhouse

I feel like this one needs a caption, but I'm not feeling particularly creative at the moment (Meeting the cows was a very moooving experience - Rick)

Did I mention that I like all of the rock formations?

Climbing up for the best photosphere spot

Look around

Look around

Look around

I thought this one looked like a guy with a big nose

Our last night--au revoir!
